legion of honor:

when I initially left my house, I was planning on warming up with mission to market, wiggle, panhandle, through the park to get to 7th and eventually twin peaks – roosevelt – 14th – south van ness – cortland – 3rd – embarcadero – marina greens – crissy – lincoln – legion of honor – clement – skyline – lake merced – skyline – golden gate park – panhandle – home.  I’m pretty sure I threw down the map a couple days ago…here we go:

I did do twin peaks, roosevelt to 14th, but didn’t make the right onto south van ness.  instead cut pretty much straight, and ran underneath 101 for a bit to division, eventually just making my way to 3rd.  I didn’t want to deal with the sketchiness of lower mission, especially at night.  that and the multiple intersections with massive muni rails nearly impossible to hop over.  finishing legion was a bit of a challenge as usual, but the headwind coming down from skyline was absolutely ridiculous.  I didn’t get a chance to swing lake merced, at the bottom left of the map.  oh well.

definitely glad it didn’t rain tonight.  bananas for dinner!
