one oh five.

the 2010, shimano 105 5700 group now comes in black.  the only components I’m concerned with are the front and rear hubs.  I’m having freewheel 3x lace them with sapim double butted black spokes, red anodized nipples, to black mavic open sports and 23c continental gatorskins for more rotational mass as well as puncture resistance.  or maybe I’ll go for a 25c…hmmm.

I’ve already placed the order, but travis told me they won’t get built for a while.  they’re backed up for a couple weeks.  not overly concerned though, by time the wheelset is built, I hope to be dialed on the supersix, in terms of saddle height, angles, etc.  the headset is enroute from georgia, and should be here next week.  I’m hoping tuesday, so it’ll make the appointment I made for wednesday.
