Saturday’s run.

I was able to update the GPS software on the Forerunner, (again), but I think I had to set it out in the open prior to resetting the satellite cache.  Of course, I didn’t do that because I forgot…but at least this time out, I was able to track my heart rate, which was helpful.  Riding after not riding for a week+ is always tough.  My legs didn’t feel too great, but I wanted to get back into the rhythm of aerobic activities again.  I kept the pace lighter than previous runs, but my heart rate was looking pretty high.  No racing for me tomorrow…

Somewhere along the Embarcadero, the GPS started tracking.  I guess it didn’t help too much though, since I only noticed the distance at the end.  Tons of people out, though.  Mostly because it’s not too cold out, and also probably because of the Chinese New Year’s parade.  I’m not too keen on walking down there, but I may…I used to go down to watch my brother participate in the parade.  It was always raining, but I’m sure it was a lot worse doing kung fu for a couple miles in the rain that it was to watch from the sidewalk.

One day, all this satellite business will be behind me.  Not today, though.
