Tour de Pologne, stage 3.

Zdenek Stybar (Omega Pharma-QuickStep) took stage 3 of the Tour de Pologne, winning ahead of Francesco Gavazzi (Astana) and Sacha Modolo (Colnago – CSF Inox).

Fumiyuki Beppu (Orica GreenEdge), Gabriele Bosisio (Utensilnord Named) and Mateusz Taciak (Polish National Team) formed the day’s break.  The trio gained a near 17 minute lead, but were caught on the finishing circuits around Cieszyn.  Matteo Trentin (Omega Pharma-QuickStep), Jussi Veikkanen (FDJ-Big Mat) and Marek Rutkiewicz (Polish National Team) formed a new break at the head of the race, continuing around the 6.3km finishing circuit.  Rutkiewicz attacked from the break, and was joined by Sergio Henao (Sky).  Moreno Moser (Liquigas-Cannondale) leads in the GC, 1 second ahead of Michal Kwiatkowski (Omega Pharma-Quickstep) and 6 ahead of Lars Boom (Rabobank).
