Thanks for featuring our bike.

Regarding the Enve-made Speedagen Integrated stem, it isn't simply drilled out, but rather a stainless steel guide and housing stop are built right into the stem using the same epoxy that carbon frames are built with. Why? The integrated cable routing removes the need for a cable hanger, so small riders can get their bar down lower and riders of all sizes can cut the weight, erratic front braking and flex that come from a standard cable hanger.

In addition to real world/ on the bike testing, the stem has been tested extensively for failure at the same labs that test frames and other components for the bicycle industry. It has been put through hundreds of thousands of stress cycles and has proven to be up to task.

If anyone has any questions they can email us at info@speedvagen.com

Thanks,

Ugh, I had a blue colnago master x light 2 years ago, with silver deep V's. It got stolen right out of my garage. One day, I'd love to build another one with some deep carbon rims and campy record. n+1... On the positive side though, I'm doing a surly crosscheck build with a set of campy shamals.

Yes! Perfect! Finally, the chain is in the big ring/small cog! Talk about details, the pedals are even parallel to the crank arms!
