The weekend crowd is much different that the weekday folks. A lot of guys commute from the north down into San Francisco, Mon-Fri, leaving their house at 5:30am, or earlier – these guys know how to be courteous, they’re on their bikes everyday, rain or shine. The people that are recklessly riding on the bridge don’t ride nearly as much, and I’ve dubbed a majority of them “super commuters” or “try hards”. These are the guys giving cyclists a bad name, they’re riding 2 or more across the walkways, going too fast for no reason, and yelling at pedestrians up and down the Marina. It’s quite strange.
