Look how chunky that 31.6 Thomson is. That’s the money spot.
I just wish it wasn’t so cross-chained.
Originally on Slam That Stem.
After working until 3:30am this morning, I took a bit of time to sleep in. I also tried to stop being so lazy and take a video recording of the Halo hub I have on the caad5. And yes, I already know the video isn’t synced with the audio. The webcam has bandwidth problems…but the audio is decent!
120 engagement points. Solid thus far, but I only have a handful of miles on the whole setup…only time will tell. Hoping to have a bit more free time later on this week/weekend with the holiday coming up on Monday. I’m thinking the hub may only take lightweight grease because of all the teeth. Too heavy and the pawl might start sticking.

34mph-0 in no time at all. A crash on a TRP Parabox setup – one of the best write-ups I’ve ever read. Insight from Shimano, TRP, and Magura (who worked with Cervelo to develop one of the first hydraulic brakeset for their time trial p5). You’ve just got to respect this Shimano rep for knowing how to back up his comments. If there’s one that Shimano spells, it’s reliability, years and years of experience/research, and durability. I remember when Shimano was asked about their next generation road groups, a question came up – bb386, bb30, pressfit 30, or other? The Shimano rep replied with something to the degree of, “Are you experiencing flex in our cranks? Well, you know, we’re always working on new things and paying attention to the market.” – Bike Rumor. Paying attention to the market, and staying true to some of the best lightweight, forged aluminum components on the market today.

Full build on Velospace. “Modern” road bike with flat bar setup thoroughly insipired by Chris (Condition NYC). I just put my own spin on it.
